Sjoerd' interest in housemusic starts in 1990. Friends are talking about this new style of music. The first 'house' hits like 'Poing' and 'James Brown Is Dead' rule his taperecorder. In the early days Sjoerd listens to the 'Turn Up Da Bass' and the 'Technotrance' series, but in 1993 he discovers the first hardcore compilation of the well-known Thunderdome cd-releases. From that point hardcore was his favourite style. In 1995 Sjoerd visited a friend who wanted to make him a mixed-tape. His parents were on a vacation, so the guy brought his DJ-Booth downstairs and Sjoerd got really stunned with this mixing thing. He loved it! From that day, he was sure that he wanted to try to become a professional DJ himself. In the same year he buys his first vinyl-record: Pulsingers Nacht, also known as: I'm A Raver Baby, So Why Don't You Kill Me?

From 1995 to 1999 Sjoerd gets obsessed with buying records. He travels through the whole country, looking for rare vinyl's, especially those from the cd series that he listened to in the past. He saves every penny from his pocketmoney and wage, to buy records and to purchase DJ-Gear. He also starts to attend hardcore houseparties and gets exited with DJs like: Stunned Guys, Paul Elstak, Neophyte, Buzz Fuzz and later on DJ Promo. In these years Sjoerd invests in his DJ career. He sends mixed-tapes, joins DJ contests, but all that doesn't get him on the stage where he dreams of.

From 1999 Sjoerd changed his style of music. He is getting bored with hardcore and a friend of him starts to play trance. Sjoerd listens to some tracks of him and he really likes them! It were Art Of Trance - Madagascar and Carte Blanche - Veracocha. In the recordstore Freaky, in Eindhoven Sjoerd gets in contact with records from Mauro Picotto, Cosmic Gate and later on, S.H.O.K.K., Flulicht, M.I.K.E and many others!. He likes these sounds so much, that he quits buying hardcore and starts to buy to trance/ hardtrance vinyl's.

After reaching the final of a DJ-contest in club 'Scanners', Sjoerd meets Maurice Pinkster. Maurice says to Sjoerd that he liked his set and that he knew how he was involved with music. Maurice invites him to the AMP studio to produce tracks. Sjoerd can not believe what he is hearing. He never had producing ambitions, but from the moment he got in that studio, he was instantly lost.

Last year, Sjoerd finished two tracks together with Maurice Pinkster and he was very content with it. (released October 2003). The next step in this very beginning of his career is to make his own studio at home. At this time he's busy to be able to work with midi and professional producing equipment,

Sjoerd still hopes that someday, he may attend a big party not as a visitor, but as a DJ!
